Founded in 2010, our initial mission was to build homes for homeless veterans in the area. We were able to partially realize our mission after our first fundraiser, where we honored worthy veterans. The proceeds from the event were donated to the building of a local shelter.

Work to Help

In 2010, we were approved as a 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization. Our company does what it does to help veterans in need. To ensure that the appropriate services are given to worthy veterans, we have linked ourselves to the Sangamon County Veterans Commission. Any female veteran sent to us by the commission will receive immediate attention and assistance.

Helping Female Veterans

Recently, our focus has been to provide more immediate assistance to female veterans in need through micro-grants to help with basic living costs, help filing for benefits thru various state agencies and networking to provide employment opportunities.

Helping Female Veterans

HONVEE, Inc. in Springfield, IL, is a charitable organization comprised of concerned citizens whose collective goal is to provide assistance to veterans. We provide avenues where veterans can earn by helping them with job placement. We also help them with their medical, physical, and mental health. We also provide shelter to those who do not have homes.

To help fund our projects and programs, we hold several fundraising events each year. We also accept donations, grants and volunteer involvement. Any financial donations are counted as tax deductible.

We fully support, supplement, and complement the services of The Veterans Assistance Commission. HONVEE, Inc. is not affiliated with other agencies or political organizations.
